I am an internationally experienced Head of Academics, Department Head, Business Management Teacher, Curriculum and Assessment developer with exceptional Business curriculum knowledge coupled with strong pedagogical skills and the
personal traits to promote learning for all of my students.

I have experienced four international education systems (UK, USA,UAE, Italy) at a High School, College and University level, over a 15 year period and have the ability to be flexible, versatile and culturally sensitive in an effort to embrace a new country and add value to both my students education and the school setting. I have experience teaching IBDP, GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, BTEC and TAFE qualifications coupled with career
development strategic planning and training needs analysis skills.
I hold a Bachelor (Hons) 2:1 Finance degree from Newcastle Business School in the UK, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with QTS from Sunderland University, a Masters in Education, (Summa cum laude) with a Business Curriculum and Instruction focus from Franklin Pierce University in the USA, The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
from Challenger, Australia and The Certificate in Investment Management from the Securities Institute in London, UK.

My teaching style focuses on a student centered approach, promoting discovery based learning, coupled with developing students’ critical thinking skills and helping students reach a point of self actualization through adopting the most up to date pedagogical strategies. I promote self efficacy and self esteem in a calm, caring, nurturing, fun, structured and developmental learning climate which incorporates the most up to date e-learning strategies, 1-on-1 ipad teaching and assessment approaches.
