I am a passionate and enthusiastic aspiring primary school teacher currently studying for my PGCE in Primary Education. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Counselling, which has helped me develop a strong understanding of how children learn, develop and build confidence. I particularly enjoy teaching maths and helping children develop a positive attitude towards the subject. I believe every child can make progress when they are supported with patience, encouragement and teaching approaches that suit their individual needs. My approach to tutoring is friendly, supportive and personalised. I aim to break down challenging concepts into simple, manageable steps, using clear explanations, practical examples and engaging activities to make learning enjoyable. I understand that every child learns differently, and I strive to create a safe and encouraging environment where pupils feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and celebrating their achievements. Whether your child needs extra support with primary maths, help strengthening their understanding of key concepts, or an opportunity to build confidence, I will work to meet their individual learning needs and help them reach their full potential.
