Advert description
I would be very interested in chatting about the potential to work with you as a freelance trainer
I have been a part time visiting lecturer and mentor at the RAU for 4 years and run my own business as a business advisor/services provider to startups and SMEs. I am very passionate about entrepreneurialism, international business and strategy and would like to continue part time lecturing. I have taught on c20 modules on various business subjects.
I have also been a freelance trainer for companies in person and via zoom - mostly for MENA based clients, though there have also been clients from West Africa, Poland and Iceland-
Prior to this, I worked with Worcester university as a mentor on their startup schemes where two of my mentees won awards.
I use my practical experience in marketing consulting/corporate finance/corporate roles in marketing and finance/ and advisory work for startups and SMES in my teaching. For example, I have had considerable experiences of business transformation.
-the companies I have worked for have been acquired, divested and in some cases were acquisitive.
-I worked in a corporate finance boutique helping businesses make acquisitions or find trade buyers- Regent typically closed about 35-40 deals a year
-As part of my research role, I would track and analyse every announced deal in the UK tech sector on a daily basis (c4000 deals a year over a 3 year period)
-I currently work with clients on fund raising and partnership search mandates.
It was this expertise that was used to write “7 ways to double value of your business”. (published by Ghost and Ribbon)
I would be very interested in discussing the potential to work together
best regards
Adrian Smith
