Maths Teacher for children age 11-16 including GCSE Statistics

I have been a Maths teacher for 7 years and have worked in a range of different schools. I love helping students to improve their maths skills and see their confidence grow. I believe in teaching students to understand maths at a deeper level and not just teaching them tricks to memorise. I use a range of methods to support student understanding including visual aids and physical items to support understanding. I also help to develop reasoning and problem solving skills which are essential for success in GCSE and A-Level Maths. I have also taught Statistics to A-Level and can support students looking to take the GCSE Statistics exam.
I have taught Functional Skills Maths and so can support both younger and adult learners.
