I have a great deal of experience delivering information in both HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE and CHILD CARE subject areas, particularly with regard to the theorists that are an integral part of understanding how children develop and behave.
I have worked as an exam question scrutineer for Edexcel (Pearson) and I am a team leader for examining and marking for health and social care level 3 Btec Nationals, life span and development (unit 1) which involves a great deal of knowledge and understanding of health and social care and child care.
I have also worked as an Academic mentor supporting students to complete their homework/ assignment work in a variety of subject areas. In addition I have assisted students to produce revision timetables and prepare them for the next part of their academic journey such as applying through UCAS or for apprenticeships or a job role.
My background initially was as a nurse and I feel that I can work with people form all walks of life.

I use a variety of teaching methods that are differentiated to meet the needs of every individual student. I have a wealth experience in supporting Students and adults to reach their full potential. I believe in effective organisation by planning and producing revision plans and setting goals including smart targets to allow students to feel they are achieving on a continual basis.
I am a very approachable person and have worked with people for more walks of life.
I feel that my strengths are that students feel they can work with me and tell me where they need help and then we work together to produce a specific plan to allow them to flourish in the topic subject they are having. problems understanding.
