English lit/language tutor for primary and secondary (GCSE) students

I am a dedicated and motivated A-level student at a grammar school with a strong passion for English Literature and Language. I also struggled massively with English - moving from a 5 to a grade 8 in one year - and therefore understand the challenges, but I know how to overcome them and build confidence step by step. Having achieved grade 8s in both English GCSEs and consistent top grades across all my subjects, I understand what it takes to succeed in exams. I aim to inspire confidence in my students by creating a supportive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills. I understand that some students are not comfortable asking for help in class and I am excited to provide them with encouragement to help them build confidence. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, combining clear explanations with practical exam strategies. I can offer not only subject knowledge but also relatable guidance that helps students feel over-prepared, confident, and capable of achieving their best.
