I give affordable private maths lessons!

I am a friendly, patient and supportive Secondary Teaching Assistant currently working in a school, offering online 1:1 tutoring in Maths and English for primary-aged children.

My lessons are carefully structured but relaxed, focusing on building confidence, understanding and strong foundations. I tailor each session to the individual child, adapting my teaching style to suit their learning needs and pace. I use clear explanations, repetition where needed, and positive encouragement to help children feel comfortable and motivated.

I support children with basic numeracy, phonics, reading, spelling, writing and comprehension, and I am happy to help with homework, revision or extra practice in specific areas. My experience in school has helped me develop a calm and reassuring approach, particularly for children who may feel anxious or lack confidence with learning.

Online lessons are interactive and engaging, and I prioritise creating a positive learning environment where children feel listened to and supported. My aim is not only to improve academic skills, but also to help children develop confidence and enjoyment in learning.
