I am an experienced, dedicated, and highly effective science tutor with a strong background in teaching both GCSE Science and Level 3 Applied Science. My experience working in two Outstanding sixth form colleges has enabled me to develop exceptional teaching skills and a deep understanding of how to support students in achieving academic success. I have worked with learners of varying abilities and learning styles, helping them build a solid foundation of scientific knowledge while developing the confidence and skills needed to excel in assessments.
I specialise in breaking down complex scientific concepts into clear, manageable explanations and tailoring lessons to meet each student’s individual needs. Alongside subject knowledge, I provide guidance on exam techniques, revision strategies, coursework, and assignment completion, ensuring students feel fully prepared and supported throughout their studies. My teaching approach combines engaging activities, practical applications, and targeted feedback to maximise progress and encourage independent learning.
