Advert description
Physics can feel challenging when it is presented as a collection of formulas. In my lessons, I focus on helping students understand the ideas behind the equations and develop the confidence to solve problems independently.
My lessons are clear, interactive and personalised to each student’s level, learning style and goals. I use step-by-step explanations, diagrams, real-life examples, guided problem solving and regular questions to check understanding. Rather than simply giving the answer, I encourage students to think through problems and develop strong problem-solving skills.
I can support students with GCSE, A-Level and university-level Physics, including mechanics, forces and motion, circular motion, waves, electricity, atomic and nuclear physics, radiation, mathematical methods and data analysis. Lessons can be tailored for exam preparation, homework support, revision, or improving understanding of difficult topics.
I have more than 10 years of experience teaching Physics and related subjects at university level, including lectures, laboratory classes, assessment, course development and student supervision. I also have experience supporting students from different academic backgrounds and levels of confidence.
My aim is to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improving step by step.
Whether you want to prepare for an exam, strengthen your understanding of a particular topic, or simply become more confident in Physics, I will adapt our lessons to help you achieve your goals.
