Experienced Primary teacher with a gentle, consultative and encouraging approach

I have been teaching for over 7 years and online tutoring for over 2 years. I have taught all year groups from Reception through to Year 6. I have an encouraging and gentle manner with my students. I always like them to have fun in my lessons, as I feel if they - like us adults - are enjoying a lesson, then they will learn more freely and make better progress.

I am also a Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator and so create and implement lessons for children who require additional support in their learning.

My lessons are fun and encouraging. If my student doesn't understand a concept then we find an approach that they can understand. I like to link lessons to a student's interest, as this makes the learning more appealing.
