I plan my lessons around each student's goals and current ability. Before each session, I prepare tailored resources and example problems to match the topic and difficulty level. During lessons, I focus on clear step-by-step explanations, encouraging students to think aloud and ask questions so they truly understand the methods rather than just memorising them. To help students achieve their goals, I set short-term targets, review past topics regularly, and give practice questions to build confidence and consistency. I measure progress through mini-assessments at the start of each lesson and setting them past paper questions to complete for the next session. Ensuring they understand that making mistakes is part of the learning process will encourage their learning massively.
