Advert description
I teach English to learners of all ages, backgrounds, and ability levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers who want to refine their fluency and accuracy. My aim is to make English learning accessible, engaging, and practical so that students can use the language confidently in real-life situations such as school, work, travel, and everyday communication.
My lessons are designed to be flexible and adaptable because every learner is different. Some students need English for exams, some for professional development, and others simply to communicate more comfortably in daily life. I take all of these goals into account when planning lessons, ensuring that each student receives the support and structure they need to improve steadily and effectively.
Lesson Structure and Style:
My lessons are structured but flexible. Each class typically has a clear objective, such as learning new vocabulary, mastering a grammar point, or improving speaking fluency. However, I always allow space for natural conversation and questions, because I believe that real learning happens when students actively use the language rather than just memorising rules.
A typical lesson may begin with a short warm-up activity. This could be a simple conversation, a question of the day, or a quick review of previous material. The purpose is to activate the student’s thinking in English and help them feel comfortable from the start.
Next, I introduce the main topic of the lesson. This might include grammar explanations, vocabulary sets, or reading/listening exercises. I explain everything in a clear and simple way, often using examples to make sure students fully understand the concept before moving on.
After that, students practice what they have learned. Practice activities may include speaking exercises, writing tasks, gap-fill exercises, or role-plays. I encourage students to make mistakes during practice because mistakes are a natural and important part of learning.
Finally, lessons usually end with a short review or feedback session. I highlight what the student did well and gently correct any errors. I also give suggestions for improvement and, when appropriate, small homework tasks to reinforce learning outside the classroom.
Teaching Methods
My teaching approach is communicative and student-focused. This means the main goal is to help students actually use English in real communication rather
