Music Theory & Composition Tutor teaching students of all ages and abilities (Viola & Violin lessons also available)

Hello! I am an experienced tutor, having taught music theory and composition for over 5 years both in schools and privately. I have a Master's in Music Composition and am an active composer working in a variety of mediums and genres.

I am passionate about music and learning, and put musicality and understanding at the forefront of my teaching. Flexible and versatile, I can tailor lessons to the specific needs of my students. Some common subject areas I can tutor in are:

ABRSM Music Theory up to and including Grade 8
Composition support for GCSE, A-Level or Bachelor's work
General Theory & Analysis at GCSE, A-Level or Bachelor's level
Specific styles of theory and composition such as Bach Chorale, Jazz, Rock/Metal or Atonal
Orchestration, Arranging & Songwriting skills
Music Software skills, including notation programs (e.g. Sibelius, Musescore) and DAWs (e.g. Pro Tools, Studio One)
