English tutor who is adaptable and engaging, open to working with all year groups

Hello! My name is Kiruthiga, and I’m currently studying for a BA in English at the University of Southampton. I have a strong passion for teaching and helping students build confidence in English, both in Literature and Language.

During sixth form, I founded a peer mentoring scheme where A-level students supported GCSE pupils through 1-to-1 and small group sessions. I personally worked with Year 11 students to help them improve their grades and develop stronger analytical and writing skills. Seeing their progress made me realise how transformative good guidance can be!

I offer friendly, personalised tutoring tailored to each student’s needs, whether that’s:
- Understanding set texts
- Essay writing and exam technique
- Building confidence in reading and analysis

I’m available for online or in-person sessions (depending on location) and happy to work with A-Level, GCSE and KS3 students.
