Advert description
With a CELTA qualification, prior TEFL certification, and extensive experience working with learners from diverse linguistic and educational backgrounds, I am confident in my ability to contribute positively to your English language programme.
I hold a CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) from DC Teacher Training in the UK and a TEFL qualification from Bridge TEFL. My teaching experience includes working as a Homeroom Teacher (Year 1) in Riyadh, as well as supporting adult and school-age learners within the UK education system. I have delivered one-to-one and small-group instruction, adapted lessons to meet individual learner needs, and promoted inclusive, student-centred learning environments.
In addition to my language teaching credentials, I bring a strong academic foundation with an MBBS and BSc, which has enhanced my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and logically. My work as a Teaching Assistant in primary and SEN settings has further strengthened my classroom management skills, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing—qualities I consider essential for effective EFL teaching.
I am fluent in English and Urdu, with conversational Arabic, enabling me to connect easily with multilingual learners and anticipate common language challenges. I am passionate about empowering students to build confidence, accuracy, and communicative competence in English through engaging, structured, and supportive lessons.
