I have learnt various facets of pastoral as an individual and as a team member I have applied and developed myself successfully established solid foundations in relationships with both students and staff, applies and developed successfully within the role demonstrating a nurturing and innovative approach to help students flourish and succeed socially and academically.
Contributing to individual strategies to improve pupils' self-esteem and confidence to provide a good foundation of their success story. I can provide evidential examples to distinguish my contribution as an individual and a team member to show my commitment to undertake in-service development commitment to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of students in addition to my competence of my contribution to helping students. I have a grown up son with Autism which has enabled me to be able to think outside the box when implementing educational ideas to learning and understanding. In my current job role working in a secondary sen school means I use various innovative ideas to help students learn and understand so they can achieve.
