Collectively, we possess over 30 years of teaching experience and hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Secondary Music. Our educational journey has taken us across both Secondary and Primary schools where we have had the privilege of supporting many students in their musical learning. Furthermore, our roles also as music examiners have deepened our understanding of music education and assessment.
Here is an overview of what Burgess Music can offer to you:
1. Instrumental Music Lessons: We provide one to one and small group tuition that encompasses a wide range of instruments, including Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Guitar, and Beginner Piano. In addition, we also offer music theory and musicianship training.
2. Customised Learning: Recognising the unique needs and aspirations of each student, we tailor our lesson plans to meet individual requirements and interests, preparing students for internal and external music exams where appropriate. We can assist in organising and preparing students for concerts and performances to share their achievements.
