Personalised GCSE tutoring prioritising understanding over cramming

How I'll teach:

Initially I'll test the students knowledge (via practise papers), see how much they know, gaps in their understanding. From this, we can build or extend on their foundation before delving into higher graded topics.
Will focus more on understanding the question (as that's where most people slip) and learning which topics to apply and why.

At the end of each session I'd provide with feedback, constructive criticism and even a personal worksheet based off their areas to work on so they can solidify their understanding.

Once tested again and again without making the same small (or large) errors, I'd know the student has learnt and retained the knowledge.
