Maths tutor for GCSEs and A-level

Hi, I’m Se, and I’m currently on my gap year before starting a Chemistry degree at university. I’ve always enjoyed helping classmates and younger students understand challenging topics, and I’m excited to use this time to share my knowledge and support others in their learning.

I specialize in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. I focus on creating a friendly, relaxed environment where students can ask questions freely and learn at their own pace. My goal is to make learning less stressful and more rewarding by breaking down difficult concepts into simple, clear steps. I’m always looking for new ways to make studying more engaging and effective.

Each lesson begins with a quick check-in to see how the student is feeling about the topic and to review any homework or previous material. From there, we focus on key areas that need improvement, using clear explanations, examples, and guided practice. I encourage students to ask questions and think through problems independently, offering hints and feedback along the way. We will finish by summarising what we covered, identifying next steps, and setting a small goal for the next session. My aim is to keep lessons interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style.
