I've been tutoring English Literature and Language for 2 years now, and as I completed my GCSEs over 2 years ago, I'm able to take my own experience into account when helping others and tailoring lessons. I've helped students who were struggling gain confidence and achieve grade 7s and above. My literature lessons mainly involve going through the texts in detail so my students have a thorough understanding of the key events and quotes as well as going through exam practise. In my language lessons, I go through past exam papers with my students after an in depth reading and analysis of the extract.
