AQA A-level Psychology tutor, fresh out of A-levels

Dear students,
My name is Kieran and I am a 1st year medical student with a huge passion for psychology. I miss studying psychology at school and want to help you to enjoy psychology as much as I do. I also know how challenging psychology can be, so I understand why and where you may struggle and as I recently faced the same ones, I have learnt plenty of tricks to help bag those marks.
During our session, I aim to have a quick discussion to work out our session’s objectives. Whether you need help with your homework, getting your head around a challenging concept or question, doing a whole topic revision session or doing through past paper questions, I hope to help you learn in an active and enjoyable style.
Techniques I use include blurting(getting all the topic out of your head), past paper question walk throughs, flash cards. I hope to encourage students to work in this way as it is backed by evidence as being more effective.
AQA A-Level Psychology is a hard subject with lots of content. I hope to help you understand the key fundamentals such as understanding the question command words, issues and debates, research methods and learning how to master your essay technique. It is hard just memorising AO1 and AO3, so understanding these fundamentals is an easy way of grabbing extra marks.
In addition to this I am happy to mark and give feedback on essay questions outside of lesson time.
