Primary English and Maths Tutor who is passionate about helping young learners unlock their full potential.
I have over 8 years of experience as a qualified lead primary school teacher (PGCE/QTS), teaching across KS2 and Early KS3. I am experienced in tutoring on a 1:1 basis as well as small groups. I specialise in teaching the Primary KS2 curriculum specifically English and Maths.

I am highly familiar and bring a deep understanding of the Key Stage Two curriculum and its requirements to be successful in SATs due to my experience of being a Year 6 Lead Teacher for 3 years and a specialist SATs Marker.

My teaching approach and style is flexible, relaxed, centred on creating engaging, fun and supportive learning experiences that inspire children globally to become the best they can be. I will always find the opportunity to get creative as well as providing challenge.

With maths lessons, I use a mastery approach that develops fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills through interactive teaching and discussion. Learners will engage with me throughout the lesson using slides, games, visual models, and real-life examples.

I am open to tutoring learners who are being home-schooled or attending British Schools overseas as I am confident in my knowledge and can provide you with a rich and balanced curriculum offer.
