I have a BA in Spanish and a Masters in Education. I started teaching Spanish online in 2019 and I have really enjoyed meeting and teaching Spanish at all levels.

My beginners class has a functional approach where students learn to communicate using key verbs and basic vocabulary. Beginners navigate in the present tense as they acquire new vocabulary and idiomatic expressions. Slowly learning to express themselves and slowly acquiring new skills and abilities in the Spanish language.

Intermediate students begin learning grammar as the structure of the language. They are introduced to verb conjugations so that they can learn to express themselves in the present, past, and future. They expand their vocabulary to form complete sentences and start reading simple paragraphs to enrich their experience.

Advanced classes focus on conversations where students are encouraged to speak in Spanish freely and fluently making mistakes that will be corrected. Mistakes give the opportunity to review grammar rules and explain the language. Students begin reading and learning more about the history, customs, and traditions of Spanish speaking countries. Students have the opportunity to talk about different subjects of their interest and express themselves orally.

Online Spanish gives the students the opportunity to learn the language at their own pace and from the comfort of home, the office, or on the go.
