I believe that the best learning happens when a student feels truly seen.
After 15 years as an English tutor, my favourite moments are still the 'lightbulb' realisations that happen during one-to-one sessions.

My path to teaching wasn't linear—I spent years in the Civil Service and hospitality, roles that taught me how to connect with people from all walks of life. Today, I use that experience to bridge the gap between where a student is and where they want to be.

Whether I’m helping a primary student find their voice, supporting an SEN learner with tailored strategies, or guiding an adult through a new qualification, my goal is always to build on what you already know to reach your full potential.
