I bring a caring and creative approach to TEFL teaching, underpinned by skills and a genuine enthusiasm for language learning. My experience includes delivering engaging English lessons to international students and adapting content to suit diverse levels, learning styles, and cultural backgrounds.

My teaching is shaped by the use of natural, functional language that supports learners in real-life situations.
I build rapport through warmth, humour, and cultural sensitivity, and I love to integrate visual and symbolic tools, such as scrolls, storyboards, and thematic maps, to spark imagination and deepen understanding. I encourage confidence through gentle correction, positive reinforcement, and a calm, inclusive classroom environment.

My background in Art and Design education enriches my TEFL practice by bringing a visual storytelling dimension to language learning. With younger students, I enjoy sharing my favorite childhood storybooks as a springboard for language learning. These beautifully illustrated pages provide rich visual cues to introduce new vocabulary and model simple sentence structures. I guide students in building spoken language skills by encouraging them to describe what they see, anticipate what might happen next, and connect words to images. Through playful question-and-answer exchanges, we reinforce understanding and boost confidence in using English in meaningful, joyful ways.
