Hello, my name is Ben. I will be graduating on the 27th of July 2023 with a 2:1 degree from the University of Leeds in English and Philosophy.
In 2021/2022, I completed a study abroad year in Murcia, during which I learnt Spanish. Whilst learning Spanish, I began to understand the challenges of speaking and understanding a second language. My own difficulty in understanding Spanish, combined with the fact that I had many friends who spoke English as a second language, meant that I was forced to learn how to become a better, clearer communicator. With this in mind, my lessons will focus on not only how to speak the English language clearly and effectively, but will have a particular emphasis on how to understand spoken English.
