I would describe myself as industrious, who enjoys aiding and guiding others into achieving a goal. I am someone who would work their best that something is accomplished to the best of someone's potential. My lessons would be aimed at KS2; years 5 and 6,

I would prepare lessons and plan what lesson aims my student would hopefully meet by the end of the lesson, and I would make sure I know my student well enough to understand their mindset and their thought process when approached with a problem or a situation so that I can tailor my method of teaching that would guide my student to learn in the most effective way possible. I will make sure that a positive environment would be established as I believe that clear communication can help my student to meet the aims and learn productively as I believe it is important for me to recognize what my student struggles with and what they're confident with so that we may progress further. I would also make sure that it is a positive learning experience by having a positive attitude, as I believe this would foster healthy learning habits and attitudes. I have had experience with teaching my younger siblings especially for the 11+ exam and I had learnt that everyone had different methods of learning and so I had adapted to recognize the strategies and methods that worked well with my siblings. I have also helped family friends with questions about content where I had learnt to have patience and to respond with respect because sometimes it can be difficult to deal with situations where students can be uncooperative or just can't focus. These challenging situations had encouraged me to control my composure and to attain a healthy environment as I believe it is crucial that a student should experience obstacles as that is a new learning opportunity for them. Although I have no professional experience, I believe I am capable as I have learnt numerous things from my time spent teaching and guiding those around me to help them reach their goals.
