Experienced English Tutor Specialising in GCSE Preparation

Hello potential students! My name is Yewande, and I have been teaching for over 20 years as a qualified teacher. Currently, I hold the position of Head of English and have extensive experience teaching students in the KS3-KS4 range.

I specialise in preparing students for their GCSE English examinations. Having in-depth knowledge of the Edexcel curriculum requirements, I am well-equipped to guide you through the challenges of this specific exam board and help you achieve outstanding results.

One of the key aspects of my teaching approach is the English Language Masterclass programme that I have developed. This program focuses on enhancing students' language skills, covering areas such as grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and essay writing, all tailored to the Edexcel specifications. Through engaging and interactive lessons, I provide targeted instruction, personalised feedback, and practical strategies to help students excel in their studies.

As a tutor, I prioritise creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, actively participate, and take ownership of their learning journey. I believe in building strong foundations in English, improving critical thinking skills, and honing exam techniques specific to Edexcel's requirements.

Whether you are struggling with specific concepts, aiming for higher grades, or seeking comprehensive Edexcel GCSE English preparation, I am here to guide you every step of the way. Together, we will work towards unlocking your full potential and achieving academic success.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss your English tutoring needs further, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
