Writing Coach and Trainer Tutors Business People and University Students

Hello!
My name is Sheri and I am a trainer, published fiction author, and writing coach with over twenty years of teaching experience in the international corporate world. I grew up in America but now live in the United Kingdom.

I have two university degrees in business and corporate training, and I'm currently working on my second Master's Degree - a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. I have extensive teaching experience, and coaching English students in written and verbal application.

I offer classes in conversational English, Business English and Communication, and English Grammar.

I help: Business Professionals, University Students, Other adults who want to improve their proficiency in the English language.

Depending on the students' needs, my teaching style include one or more of the following methods:

Communicative Language Teaching which helps students’ communicate in real-life situations with real-world assignments and problem-solving. This type of learning is for students who are less concerned with grammar accuracy and focused on English fluency in conversations and writing.

Total Physical Response teaching involves students react to a teacher's movement, such as miming, gesturing, or acting out the language. This active involvement learning is practical application and helps students remember vocabulary. It also provides an outlet for a student's energy and helps them stay focused while learning.

Task / Project / Situational teaching and coachng involves working with a student with a specific need or project. For example, working with business professionals on their use of English for speeches or presentations; working with university students on oral or written presentations, school assignments, or dissertations to ensure clarity in written and oral English.
