I am a native Portuguese speaker with a PhD and a Master’s in Literature and a Bachelor’s in Portuguese Language & Literature from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). I also studied at the University of Lisbon; I teach Brazilian Portuguese. My lessons are personalised: we start with your goals, whether travel, work, family or exams, and build a plan around them. Each class combines conversation practice, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading and writing, using real-life dialogues, music, short texts and literature to bring the culture to life. I explain things clearly, correct gently and help you gain confidence from the very first lesson.
