I’m a fashion designer /creative practitioner. My lessons are for beginners and aspiring designers.

I have a strong background in fashion, textiles and graphic design, with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Product Management, a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and a BTEC National Diploma in Fashion and Textiles. I am currently developing my creative practice further through an MA in Creative Practice. My teaching approach is practical, encouraging and student-focused. I enjoy helping learners understand the fashion design process and develop their ideas from initial research and inspiration through to design development and final outcomes. I can support students with fashion illustration, garment design, textiles, creative research, mood boards, colour development, fashion flats, technical drawings, textile prints and Adobe Creative Suite. I can also help students develop their sketchbooks and portfolios, explore different creative techniques, communicate their ideas clearly and build confidence in their abilities. For practical projects, I can guide learners through garment construction, basic pattern-cutting concepts, fabric selection and textile experimentation. I particularly enjoy working with beginners and students who may feel unsure about their creative abilities. I aim to make lessons relaxed, clear and hands-on, breaking down techniques into manageable steps while encouraging students to develop their own creative style. My goal is to help learners not only improve their technical skills but also become more confident, independent and creative in their approach to fashion design.
