Hi, I’m an A-level student who tutors GCSE Maths and Sciences. I’ve always had a strong interest in science, which is why I chose it at A-level.

When I was revising for my own GCSE Science, I remember wishing I had someone who could explain topics to me in a way I could relate to, not just read from a textbook or rush through methods. That experience is a big reason why I want to teach science — I know how frustrating it can be when content doesn’t quite click, and I want to be the person who helps make it make sense. My focus is always on ensuring students understand the content, not just memorise it.

In terms of experience, I have helped younger siblings of friends and family members with their schoolwork and GCSE revision. Through this, I’ve developed strong communication skills and learned how to adapt explanations to suit different students and ability levels.

Because I sat my GCSEs recently, I understand the pressure students face and what examiners are looking for. Being close in age allows me to communicate clearly with students and create a relaxed, supportive learning environment.

My aim is to help students build confidence, gain real understanding, and improve their results.
