Advert description
I am an undergraduate Philosophy and Literature student at the University of Warwick, where I achieved a first-class standard in my first year. I previously studied at Reading School, attaining A grades in English Literature, History, and Philosophy at A-Level. I am also a National Ethics Cup Debate Champion (2023) and have published writing in The Addington, Cogito, and The Boar. Alongside my academic studies, I have delivered one-to-one tuition through Edumentors, supporting GCSE and A-Level students in achieving measurable improvements in essay performance and exam outcomes.
I specialise in essay-based subjects, particularly A-Level English Literature and Philosophy, and GCSE English at Grade 7–9 level. My focus is on advanced essay construction: developing clear thesis statements, structured argumentation, precise textual analysis, and confident critical engagement. Drawing on my background in competitive debate and academic writing, I teach students how to construct sophisticated, well-supported arguments that meet top-band criteria. Sessions are rigorous, structured, and tailored to individual goals, with detailed written feedback provided to ensure consistent progress.
My aim is not simply to improve grades, but to develop intellectual confidence, clarity of thought, and analytical independence. I work best with motivated students seeking to refine their writing, deepen their understanding, and push into the highest performance bands at GCSE and A-Level.
