Advert description
I have a passion for mathematics and am always interested to find a simple way to understand complex problems by breaking them into smaller simple blocks of equations. This makes mathematics the easiest subject to learn and is liked by everyone.
I hold a MEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London and have studied Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A-Level. I have been teaching Maths and Physics to AS, A-level and GCSE students at my local tuition centre and online.
I adapt my teaching style to suit each learner as I strongly believe that everybody is different, and their learning style is unique to themselves. My tutoring approach is to identify the gaps in students’ understanding of each topic and help them to build those missing skills. The main focus of my lesson is to improve the confidence of my student to handle any exam-type questions. Therefore, I introduce exam-style questions to my students from the first lesson and the weekly homework will be based on exam papers. I am very patient and calm, and the lessons will be much interactive as I expect my students to explain their methods when their solutions look wrong. In this way, I can explain what mistakes they made and am able to help them avoid similar mistakes in the future. I have a clear and very good understanding of the KS3/KS4/KS5 Mathematics and Physics Curriculum in all exam boards and I am happy to teach any topics that you require me to cover.
