I've been a Guitar/Bass Guitar teacher for over 15 years, privately and in primary and secondary schools.I've composted pieces for the RockSchool Syllabus and coached School bands.

My focus is on the students needs, develop musicality and rhythm and focus on their goals while making it fun as well with topics like:
Music theory
Performance
Role of instruments in the band and their aproach according to the style

Styles: Rock, Jazz, Blues, Latin (samba & Bossa), Reggae, Ska, Rhythm& Blues



I also teach Brazilian Portuguese. My lessons are dynamic, engaging, and tailored to suit each student’s specific needs. Drawing from my experience in voiceovers, translation, and proofreading, I will provide a well-rounded approach to learning Brazilian Portuguese, ensuring that students not only master grammar and vocabulary but also pronunciation and natural expression if they wish so



Lesson Format:

• Conversation Practice: i will emphasize real-life situations, helping students build fluency and confidence through dialogues, role-playing, and discussions.

• Listening and Pronunciation: Leveraging my voiceover expertise, you guide students in developing a clear and authentic accent, focusing on correct intonation and rhythm.

• Grammar and Vocabulary: The lessons include clear, practical explanations of grammar rules and essential vocabulary, always contextualized within real conversations or texts.

• Cultural Insights: I will integrate Brazilian culture, idiomatic expressions, and regional differences, making the learning experience richer and more meaningful.

• Custom Materials: I can create or adapt materials based on students’ interests and goals, such as business language, travel scenarios, or exam preparation.



Dynamics:

My teaching style is highly interactive, encouraging students to speak from the very beginning and fostering a supportive environment where making mistakes is part of the process, ensuring students feel comfortable and motivated. Additionally, I will provide personalized feedback and practical tips, enabling continuous improvement.
