Architectural Technologist - Industry Experience In professional Practice - First Class BA (HONS) In Architectural Technology

Advert description
Architectural Technology & Architecture Tutoring

Hi, I'm Mason, an Architectural Technologist currently working in practice. I have a First Class Honours degree in Architectural Technology and can help college and university students with all aspects of their degree work.

I can offer support with:

AutoCAD - 2D drawing, plans, elevations and masterplanning.
Revit - modelling, families, drawings, sheets and technical detailing.
Twinmotion - setting up models, materials, lighting and creating renders.
Technical detailing and understanding construction.
Report writing and structuring written work.
Portfolio design and writing.
CV writing for university applications and architectural jobs.
Urban design and masterplanning.

In my current role, I work within an architectural department where I help coordinate designs, create and develop Revit models for planning and sometimes rendering in Twinmotion. I coordinate technical design with our technical department. I also have experience working with our urban design team, giving me an understanding of masterplanning and larger-scale projects.

I understand that architectural software can be difficult when you are first starting out because I found it difficult myself when I started university. I take a patient and understanding approach to tutoring and will explain things clearly rather than assuming you already know how everything works.

I can also help with university reports and portfolios. During my degree, I consistently achieved 80-90% in report writing, and achieved 92/100 for my portfolio research, so I can help you improve both the content and presentation of your work.

I'm also used to helping and mentoring others, having always taken on a supportive role with my younger sister. My aim is to make architectural software and university work feel much less overwhelming, while helping you develop skills that you can use independently.

Whether you're completely new to Revit or AutoCAD, struggling with a university project, need help preparing a portfolio, or simply want someone to go through your work with you, I'm happy to help.
