Music teacher with over 15 years classroom experience

Hello! My name is Rob. With over 15 years of rich experience teaching music across various secondary schools in Devon, including a decade as the Head of Music at Devonport High School for Girls, I've dedicated my career to nurturing the musical talents of students at all levels. My tenure in education has allowed me to collaborate with an eclectic mix of musicians, guiding students through their GCSEs, A-Levels, ABRSM Theory and Practical Exams, and auditions for prestigious music colleges.

I am particularly proud of my students' accomplishments, with many securing places at renowned institutions such as Cambridge University, The Royal Welsh College of Music, and The Royal Northern College of Music. My teaching ethos centers on inclusivity and the belief that music lessons can enrich anyone's life, regardless of their background or skill level.

Specializing in beginner to intermediate piano, I also excel in supporting students through the composition process, harnessing their creativity to produce compelling music.
