Advert description
I am a Psychology graduate offering supportive and approachable tutoring for students studying GCSE, A-level, or university-level Psychology. I completed Psychology A-level at Plymouth College Independent School and an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Social Sciences (Distinction) at Weston College. I later achieved a BSc (Hons) Psychology (2:1) at the University of Bristol and went on to earn an MSc in Clinical Psychology (Distinction) from the University of Exeter.
I have attended multiple Psychology-related courses at the University of Oxford, hold a Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems, and am currently completing a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health.
As I have recently been through the academic journey myself, I understand the challenges that many students often face. This includes understanding theories and research methods to later developing strong essay-writing skills and examination techniques. My aim is to make learning Psychology more manageable and enjoyable.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. I understand that every student is different and I accommodate my teaching techniques to best suit them. I break down complex concepts into simple and relatable explanations by using discussion and guidance to help them build their confidence. I can also support students with revision planning, improving writing structure, and preparing for assessments.
I create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and take their time to understand the material. If you are looking for somebody that is friendly, knowledgeable, and committed to helping you progress in Psychology, I would be more than happy to support your learning!
