Oxford Physics offer-holder helping students build confidence, master Maths and Science up to GCSE, and university preparation.

I’ve recently completed A-levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, and I hold an offer to study Physics at the University of Oxford. Because I’ve only just been through GCSEs, A-levels and university admissions myself, I understand the topics students find most difficult and the pressure that comes with exams. My lessons are designed to feel more like working through problems with a knowledgeable mentor than sitting through a lecture. I focus on explaining why methods work, spotting gaps in understanding, and helping students become confident enough to tackle unfamiliar questions independently. I tutor Mathematics and Science up to GCSE level, and I can also help with university preparation, including PAT and ESAT-style problem solving, interview preparation, and study planning. I have experience supporting younger students through mentoring and teaching assistant work, so I’m used to adapting explanations for different learning styles. A typical lesson includes a quick review of previous work, targeted practice on the student’s weakest areas, and exam-style questions with clear feedback and tips for improving marks. I want students to leave each online session feeling that the subject makes more sense than it did an hour earlier.
