Law Tuition with Craig Dell: Clear Explanations, Practical Insight and Personalised Support

Advert description
Hello, I’m Craig Dell, a law tutor with an LLB (Hons), an LLM in Corporate Law and doctoral research at the University of Buckingham. I combine academic knowledge, university teaching contributions and practical legal experience to help students understand law, develop stronger arguments and approach their studies with greater confidence. Whether you are encountering legal concepts for the first time or building your undergraduate skills, I offer supportive tuition shaped around your goals.
My academic background gives me an appreciation of the challenges involved in studying law, from understanding terminology to constructing answers. I achieved an Upper Second Class LLB and a Merit in my LLM, alongside Dean’s List recognition and high marks in Commercial Law and Criminology. My PhD examines the governance of medical artificial intelligence, bringing together law, ethics, regulation and public policy. This research strengthens the analytical approach I bring to explaining difficult legal questions.
I can support students with the English legal system, introductory contract and tort law, legal research, statutory interpretation and academic skills. Drawing on my postgraduate studies and teaching contributions, I can also assist with corporate law, corporate rescue and insolvency topics. For students interested in emerging issues, I offer discussion of medical artificial intelligence governance, regulatory theory and the relationship between law and technology. We would agree the relevant topics beforehand so that each lesson matches your course and learning needs.
Alongside subject knowledge, I help students develop the skills that make a difference across legal study: identifying relevant issues, reading judgments efficiently, distinguishing legal principles and applying authorities to unfamiliar facts. We can work on essay planning, problem questions, case notes, critical analysis and academic referencing, including OSCOLA. My aim is to help you explain not only what the law says, but why a particular argument is convincing, where its limitations lie and how competing interpretations can be evaluated.
My university teaching contributions include co-delivering an LLM lecture on corporate rescue and insolvency, preparing specialist materials and encouraging critical discussion. I have also delivered guest lectures to undergraduate law students on professiona
