Experienced year 6 primary school teacher

I have a masters degree in transformational leadership (with PGDE) alongside a 1st class hons degree in history. I have 7 years of primary school teaching experience and aim to deliver fun and engaging lessons that are packed with knowledge. It’s important to connect learning in order to develop an understanding in a subject. I try to tailor the learning and learning style to the pupil and understand everyone learns differently. I have experience tutoring all subjects to GCSE level.

I can teach all subjects, but as a previous maths lead my specialism lies here. Alongside this history, geography, science, English and reading (phonics) are also areas I have vast experiences with (my A levels were in history, geography and maths).

I firmly believe all children can excel in learning and have the potential to success in all subjects and I’m passionate about progress.

Learning should be fun, engaging and purposeful. Lessons should be the same as this.
