Accounting, Mathematics and Financial Management tutor for Ordinary and Advanced level students

Advert description
I am a fourth-year university student studying for an undergraduate degree in financial engineering. I have been tutoring for the past 4 years and am well acquainted with online tutoring sessions. Mathematics and accounting are quite intriguing and challenging; for these reasons, I find it interesting to teach others and show them they are quite fascinating and not boring.

"The word accounting comes from the word accountability. If you are going to be rich, you need to be accountable for your money.” Robert T. Kiyosaki. They are not just theoretical subjects but they offer practical tools essential in everyday life for example when shopping, you need to be accountable for your change, and just be able to count from one to ten.

As a teacher I find it best to get my students to participate in the lessons, I don't just dish out material for them but I prefer, they go and do some research on a particular topic and make a presentation which would be followed by a question and answer segment from their peers. This makes the lessons more interactive and the students are not just passive participants but rather active participants. Furthermore, course work in my class carries more marks as continuous assessment makes up for 60% and the final test constitute of 40%. This makes students to take their work seriously knowing it has a bearing on the final outcome. In addition, I employ homework as part of my tutorials, It helps to keep my students busy with their studies. All in all, as much as I value that my lessons should be educative and informative, I also like them to be captivating and my students should have fun in class and enjoy mathematics and accounting.

In conclusion, like any other tutor I get fulfillment in drawing the best from my students and knowing I gave them my best. As a tutor shaping tomorrow's minds is my goal and one that makes me to enjoy my work. Why I enjoy mathematics that much, its because of this famous quote, "Mathematics may not teach us to add love or subtract hate, but it gives us hope that every problem has a solution", though anonymous, it just appeals to me and hopefully my students will find meaning in it, thank you.
