Primary English Tutor – Experienced with Children

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary English Tutor with experience working with children in a range of educational and childcare settings. I enjoy helping children build confidence in English while making learning engaging, enjoyable and accessible to every child.

I have experience working with children in a summer camp environment, where I supported children with activities, encouraged participation and helped create a positive, safe and welcoming atmosphere. This experience has developed my ability to communicate effectively with children of different ages and personalities, while remaining patient, supportive and approachable.

I am confident in planning, leading and organising activities, ensuring that tasks are well prepared and suitable for the children involved. I am able to take responsibility for organising daily tasks, managing activities and supporting children throughout the day. I work well both independently and as part of a team and can adapt quickly when plans need to change.

As a tutor, I understand the importance of creating a supportive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I can help children develop their reading, writing, spelling, grammar and general English skills through structured lessons and engaging activities. I aim to make lessons interactive and enjoyable while still maintaining clear learning goals.

My experience working with children has helped me develop strong communication, organisation and leadership skills. I am responsible, reliable and confident when taking the lead on activities or helping to organise tasks. I always prioritise the wellbeing, safety and individual needs of the children I work with.
