GCSE and A-level Psychology tutor offering flexible evening and weekend sessions

Currently undertaking my professional teaching qualification, I am a patient, encouraging tutor, motivated by enabling students to fulfill their potential.
I am confident in tutoring GCSE Maths, English, Combined Science, History and Psychology, as well as A-level and degree-level support with Psychology.
I am familiar with Edexcel and AQA exam boards, and will tailor tutoring sessions to consider exam board-specific requirements.
I am happy to run sessions from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on level of support needed and any tutee-specific requests. My sessions will aim to develop the tutees’ knowledge in the chosen area, whilst building exam technique to increase overall subject competence.
I have experience in teaching to whole classes, delivering specific small-group interventions and focussed one-to-one sessions. I have taught children aged 5-16 years. I also have experience in adapting my teaching approaches to consider any additional learning needs of pupils.
I am flexible in differentiating instructional methods and utilising strategies such as scaffolding, questioning and modelling to consider the variation in meeting the diverse learning strengths and needs in tutees.
I have an interest in education, am motivated by observing ongoing progress of my students, and am keen to apply my knowledge of cognitive and behavioural psychology to benefit my tutees.
