Advert description
I cover all the sciences and maths up to GCSE level, and cover Biology and Chemistry at A level. I am a member of the Tutors' Association.
I did a biochemistry B.Sc. (Hons) degree at Bristol University and a PhD degree in microbiology at University College London. I spent ten years doing microbiological research in the U.K. and in Australia. In addition, I have a medical (MBChB) degree from Warwick University. I have no formal teaching qualifications, and have never worked in a school. However, I have a proven track record of teaching ability, and have worked successfully as a private tutor since 2011.
I believe in creating a positive learning environment for students, challenging them and building confidence, so that they can achieve their personal potential. I strive in my teaching to inspire a love of learning, and to make learning fun.
