I believe there are no bad students—only bad teachers. In school, I earned 8 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s at GCSE while attending a state school, largely by teaching myself the content—hundreds of hours spent learning, practising, and figuring out how to make it all stick. I've now completed my A Levels (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, History), having scored A*s in every mock and being predicted outcomes of 4 A* grades. My mathematical competence has now earned me offers from competitive university courses such as LSE Economics and Oxford Economics & Management—Oxford’s most selective course (~20 applicants per place). My teaching is pragmatic and exam-focused—I prioritise the skills that give you the most value when it counts. I’m highly receptive to learners and able to quickly spot what’s causing confusion.
