Physics and Astrophysics Tutor

I am a Ph.D. astrophysicist with 27 years of full time teaching students of all levels of ability from GCSE through to A-level and Oxbridge.

I am keen on providing tailored lessons for individuals with the emphasis on understanding the physical processes we study. It is very much a partnership between teacher and student. We start with building from the very basics as a solid foundation and building on this with real-life examples, experimental data and conclusions, mathematical relationships, and consolidation with example answers to exam-style questions. At all times, we self-reflect to ensure we have a sound understanding through student questions.

I can teach one-to-one face to face or through internet style tutoring sessions. I have taught SEND students and am sensitive to individual needs when planning my lessons.
