I am a patient, supportive and enthusiastic tutor who focuses on helping students build confidence as well as understanding.

I would teach in a clear, structured and supportive way, focusing on building a solid key understanding of key concepts before moving on to more challenging problems. Having previously helped tutor my younger sisters to prepare for grammar school entrance exams and GCSE Maths, I have used methods to help them understand challenging topics, such as using child-friendly analogies or real-life comparisons that they encounter daily. Teaching topics from the child's perspective is very important, as every child is different. Adapting to the child's mindset and creating a learning pathway from that perspective is the key to helping them understand and overcome challenging topics.
