I’m Jo, a tutor and mentor who is passionate about helping people discover their strengths and achieve their goals. My career has taken me through teaching, coaching, and supporting students at every stage of education — from school to university and beyond — and what inspires me most is seeing learners grow in confidence and realise what they’re capable of.

I teach and mentor because I believe every student has the potential to succeed, no matter their background or starting point. For me, it’s not just about passing exams or completing assignments — it’s about building resilience, developing skills, and feeling empowered to take the next step with confidence.

Over the years, I’ve worked with students from many different walks of life — international learners, apprentices, those writing dissertations, and others overcoming personal or academic challenges. What motivates me is supporting each person in a way that works for them, creating space for progress that feels meaningful and achievable.
