I would use a supportive, engaging and student-centred approach to teaching GCSE Biology, making complex topics easier to understand by breaking them down into simple explanations and relatable examples. Drawing on my scientific background and degree-level knowledge of biology, I would help students understand key concepts, including cells, genetics, human biology and ecology. I would adapt lessons to each student’s learning needs, use diagrams, quizzes and practice exam questions to reinforce understanding, and teach effective revision and exam techniques. I would encourage students to ask questions, build their confidence and develop independent learning skills, while regularly reviewing their progress to identify areas for improvement.
